Easy set up
Set up the game by placing the Topple board on top of the game stand. Each player selects a color and takes all the playing pieces of that color. Create a score sheet that lists the names of each player and decide what the winning score will be - for example, 100 points. Players take turns rolling the die and placing their pieces, one at a time, on the Topple board. The number on the die shows where on the board you may place a piece.
Develops STEM skills
Topple teaches the basic building skills of balance and precision while providing great practice for spatial relationships and fine motor skills as well as counting and color matching. Earn points by completing a row of five pieces, and earn additional points for each playing piece of your color in that row. You can also score by adding a piece to a stack that is already three or more pieces high, but be careful not to topple!
Tipsy, topsy-turvy, toppling fun
A topple occurs when a player causes one or more playing pieces to fall off a stack or off the Topple board. When this happens, the round ends and the player who caused the topple loses ten points. Remember that players cannot touch the Topple board or any of the pieces already on the board. Have fun as you build and look for multiple scoring possibilities! The first player to reach the designated amount of points wins!
Topple is a three-dimensional board game for the whole family. To play, perch the game board (a five-level, 8-inch square of molded plastic) on top of the 7-inch- high stand, choose your color piece, and agree on what score will win. Each player then rolls a die and must place a piece on the game board level that corresponds to the number rolled. Points are scored by completing rows or building high stacks. The round ends and you get a point penalty if you send pieces cascading off the platform--that is, cause a topple.
