I purchased this Kingsway chess set, many years ago on ebay. I was collecting Kingsway chess sets, and wondered why, there are so few different sets, so I decided to paint one, for myself. I chose colors that appealed to me, and painted the set I was so happy, with the results, that this chess set, became a part, of my personal collection.
At 80 years of age, I can no longer play chess, and with health issues, upkeep of a home is too much for me, so I will be moving to a retirement community, and must part, with a life time of collected treasures.
I had in my collection, a new chess board, still wrapped in plastic, and a new bookshelf storing case. I had to unwrap it, to make sure the chess pieces would fit.
So, I put all together, and listed it on ebay.
