This sale is for a PAINTING COMMISSION. You must provide the miniatures for me to paint.
Specifically, this is a painting commission for Ornstein and Smough, two of the miniatures included in a Dark Souls Board Game Core set. For the listed price, I will paint both the Ornstein and Smough miniatures and ship them back to you.
UPDATE: I added a few new pictures. They include a second color scheme for Smough.
Here's how it works:
Step 1) Contact me to get my mailing address. You can do that by asking a question about this item.
Step 2) Buy the Commission (click Buy it Now).
Step 3) Mail me your miniatures. You will need to include both boxes of miniatures in the Dark Souls box.
Step 4) I will paint the miniatures you send me. My default color schemes are shown in the group picture above. Alternatively, many people send me links to photos of other people's paint jobs that they want me to mimic.
Step 5) I take photos of the miniatures to make sure you like how they look. If you do, great! If not, I make modifications to try to get the look you want.
Step 6) I pack everything up and mail it back to you. I ship Fedex with insurance for the full value of the auction.
Step 7) You get your fully painted minis!
Timeframe: Once I get your miniatures in hand, it takes me between 1-2 weeks for a pair like this, depending on my work schedule and if I have to do any work after I send you the photos.
FAQ
Question: Do I really get both of those miniatures for 80 dollars?
Answer: Um, no. This is a PAINTING COMMISSION. You send me the minis and I paint them for you. You have to provide the minis yourself.
Question: I have more Dark Souls Board Game miniatures that I'd like you to paint. What are the prices?
Answer: If you want the whole set done, I have a commission for that with a discount over doing the minis individually. Otherwise, my prices for Dark Souls minis are typically $45 for the biggest ones (like Smough), $35 for the medium ones (like Ornstein), and $25 for the smaller ones. I apply a 10% discount to orders of two or more miniatures (already included in this auction) and larger discounts on particularly big orders (up to 30%).
Note: These prices apply only to Dark Souls Board game brand miniatures since I know their exact sizes and plastic quality. For prices on other miniatures (particularly ones that require assembly, which these do not), see below. Question: I have other miniatures that I'd like you to paint. What are the prices?
Answer: Please Contact Me and let me know specifically what you want. My prices vary depending on miniature size, whether or not the miniatures need assembly, and the type of plastic used.
Question: You use Fedex? Why not USPS? It's cheaper!
Answer: I once mailed a commission USPS and it was damaged during shipment. Even though I paid for insurance and I had all required documentation, USPS refused to issue the insurance payment. Fedex may be more expensive, but they have never damaged anything I've shipped.
Question: This page says you have quantity 10. How can you have that if you are taking commissions?
Answer: That's there because I don't want to have more than 10 of these commissions going on at the same time. Normally having two or three commissions going at once isn't a problem because I can be working on one commission while another dries. However, I'm worried that if I have more than 10 going at the same time, I won't be able to keep to my "2 weeks or less" time frame.
NOTE: Most of my listings limit the number to 5, but since this is a commission for only two minis that don't require assembly, I can handle more at once.
