In Precognition, you must truly see the future to win the game. That comes from understanding a new card mechanism: the Dual Select System. In addition to being innovative, the Dual Select System fits perfectly with the theme because, among the two cards that you will let pass, one of them will come back to you on the next turn. You have 12 turns to make the right choices. Your goal is to have the most Healthy Humans at the end of the game. To keep the Humans you take in while working your way downstream, you will need Food, Doctors to treat them and Protectors to fight the Banes you’ll encounter. Good luck!
USE YOUR POWERS OF PRECOGNITION TO SAVE HUMANITY: In a post-apocalyptic world the Ymunes, mutants with the power of precognition, decide to save what remains of humanity. To save the Humans you take in while working your way downstream, you will need Food, Doctors to treat them and Protectors to fight the Banes you’ll encounter.
UNIQUE DUAL SELECT DRAFTING SYSTEM: Each turn a player will receive 2 cards from another player and 2 from their deck. They must keep 1 of the 2 cards they received from the player and return the other. Then of the 3 cards they have they select 1 to play and pass the 2 remaining cards to the next player to consider for their turn.
STRATEGY BOARD GAME: Cards will be used to power machines that will generate resources and maintain the humans you have on board. Balancing between gathering resources, gaining humans, and preparing for negative events is vital.
HIGHLY ENGAGING AND VARIABLE: Precognition offers a tight interplay between resource management and drafting where players can use their knowledge of cards in play to help build towards future turns. The unique drafting system allows players to track what cards are in play and help them build to either avoid negative cards or build synergies with other cards in the future.
NUMBER OF PLAYERS AND AVERAGE PLAYTIME: This thrilling post-apocalyptic survival game is designed for 2 to 4 players and is suitable for ages 10 and older. Average playtime is approximately 50 minutes.
