This was a FANTASTIC game, both fun and educational (even for history buffs). I got this to help my neuro-divergent son understand his US History unit. He loved it, and the stories and characters gave meaning to the abstract concept of outlaws. You really learn alot!
In this game you start out as Butch Cassidy. You have a horse, $300 and the shirt on your back. To win you must be the toughest and most successful outlaw. But first you need guns, gear and a gang, chosen from 32 real outlaws with historic biographies.
Roll the dice to move around the board. Livestock stolen in one state need to be driven to another for sale. Then you can start robbing banks and trains, the same ones robbed by the Wild Bunch.
Land on an Outlaw Fate square and learn the real history of the Old West. Then you accept a consequence that's good, bad or neutral to you. Once you have stolen a predetermined amount of money, you can chance the "Final Trail" to win the game.
We played many times during a long pandemic winter. Great game for grandparents and kids, and groups with wide age differences. Each game is 1-2 hours.
This game is complete with all pieces and cards (we inventoried it to be sure). There's very minor wear to the box and board.
