On March 1, 1815, The exiled napoleon returned to France. Twenty days later, the great powers of Europe armed for war. Outnumbered, Napoleon risked all on a calculated gamble: to strike at and shatter, the fragile Prussian-Anglo Alliance that stood between him and Brussels. The battle of Waterloo would decide the fate of Europe.
The quadrigame format includes four independent games: Quatre Bras, Ligny, Wavre, and La Belle Alliance. Standard game rule cover artillery bombardment, weather, army demoralization, and Napoleon's Imperial Guard. Each game has its own map. The entire Battle of Waterloo can be played by joining the maps of the four games. Special game rules include Leaders and Command Control, Supply, Night Game Turns, and Corps Demoralization. The quadrigames last 2-3 hours each, while the full Campaign Game runs 6-8 hours. Individual units are basically brigades.
